Marketing software for small business that brings you only the decisions.
TruLata is built for a local service business, whoever runs the marketing. Our team connects your accounts. From then on the drafting, the watching and the counting run whether anyone is at a desk, and what you spend moves only within the limits set for your engagement.

Who is this built for?
Start with the owner. Marketing software for small business is judged on one question: what does it take off the plate of the person who also answers the phone, quotes the job and runs the crew? TruLata is built for the service business: a territory is typical, and a multi-location or national company fits the same way. Where the marketing happens at 9pm, when it happens at all, that is the work the software takes.
You already know the alternatives. An agency you cannot see inside. A first marketing hire who leaves with what they learned. Doing it yourself in the evenings. Buying shared leads from a marketplace. Software is the fifth option, and it earns the seat only if it does the routine work without you and moves your money only within limits you set.
TruLata splits marketing into two kinds of work. The first kind runs on a schedule with nobody watching: sourcing, drafting, watching, counting. The second kind needs a person's judgement: a budget, a bid, an approval. The engines take the first kind. The second kind waits at a gate, and the screen shows you which is which. The use case for a business with no marketing team and the one for the owner who is the marketing department walk through that split from each seat.
The four you know
- An agency you cannot see inside
- A first hire who leaves with what they learned
- Doing it yourself in the evenings
- Buying shared leads from a marketplace
The fifth option
- Software that does the routine work without you
- Moves your money only within limits you set
- Shows you which work waits for you
What should marketing software for small business take off your plate?
The routine work, all of it, on a schedule. On Launch, Growth and Command, each content topic passes a demand gate on real search volume and on what already holds the result page, then moves through research, writing and draft. The research step cites current sources. Each piece is filed as a Google Doc in your Drive with its own featured image. The dedupe reads the titles already published on your site before a topic is queued. Auto-publish is a setting per client, so approval is optional.
On Command, prospects are sourced every week to the target profile set with you. Enrichment finds a deliverable address for each one or routes the prospect to a contact-form path, and every draft lands in a review-first queue. Every day at 7:05am Eastern the ads change watch reads your Google Ads change history and user list, then separates our own writes from material changes by anyone else, including the recommendations Google applies on its own. A material change made by anyone else is raised to the team the same day, so a setting switched on under any login, or a new address given access, is known the next morning. Every day at 7:20am Eastern, where your website forms feed the lead sheet, the lead watch runs five checks across the sheet, Google Ads and GA4.
Your visibility across ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Grok is scored at baseline and re-run as the program moves, each engine through its own API. A blank answer is a measurement error and leaves the denominator rather than counting as a miss. Every night at 12:01am Central a fallback snapshot of your page bakes, and a failed pull leaves the previous page up rather than shipping an empty section. All of it runs without anyone remembering to start it.

What stays within limits, and what waits for a person?
Your money moves only within limits you set. Budget and bid changes stay within the limits set for your engagement, and the 7:05am watch reads the account's change history and user list, including the recommendations Google applies on its own. It sets our own writes and Google's routine churn aside, so what reaches the team that same morning is a change someone else made to how your money gets spent, whichever login made it. Stripe is read live and read only, so a charge or a refund happens only in your own Stripe account.
Every email it sends leaves a record. Prospect emails leave from a review-first queue; a person releases them, or the queue releases on the schedule set for the engagement, and every send is logged with the draft, the mailbox and the time. Replies are classified and shown, and not-interested or bounced addresses are suppressed from further sends. Named accounts are always reviewed by a person.
The screen requests, and the engine writes through each platform's API. From the page you set a lead outcome, request a website change, or request a content, keyword, category or targeting change. Each request goes to the team, is logged and comes back with a ticket number, and a person makes the change it asks for. The engine's writes to your ad accounts and your site go through their APIs and land in each account's own change history. The security page lists every write path.
It never asks for an account password. Every Google connection is a grant you give from your own console and can revoke there on the day you choose. Our team connects your CRM or booking platform, Stripe, your email platform and your website forms from the inside, with access you grant during setup. You send the invitations and grant the access, and our team does the rest.

What do I see when I open it?
One page, with numbers pulled because you opened it. The page renders last night's snapshot first, so the screen fills the moment it opens, then asks our service for the live payload from cache. If that snapshot is older than five minutes, a pull of your sources starts behind the request and the fresh numbers swap in when they land. The stamp beside the title says when the numbers were last pulled. Press Refresh and a full pull starts, 2 seconds to a little over 3 minutes, and the page reloads when the stamp moves, so every press ends in a page with a fresh stamp.
Each view names its source and switches on as that source is connected. The Leads view reads the sheet your own forms append to, newest first, so a lead is counted from your form and not from a platform's estimate; set its outcome from the screen and it is written to the lead record. The search view shows queries, impressions, clicks and average position from Search Console. The ads view shows spend, conversions and cost per conversion for every campaign. Stripe payments and subscriptions are read live, read only. Jobs appears where your CRM or booking platform is connected. The Team view shows seats used of plan seats, and you invite by email as Member or Admin.
Read the stamp before you read a number, because the ceiling is per source. Your CRM or booking platform, Stripe, website leads and email statistics are live. Google Ads and GA4 lag by hours. Search Console runs two to three days behind, because that is when Google releases it. The page is the report.

Read the stamp before you read a number.
What does it cost, and how long until I see my own numbers?
One flat monthly figure, month to month. Starter is $400 a month, Launch $650, Growth $1,200, and Command is scoped per engagement. Everything a tier carries is in that number. An annual commitment takes twenty percent off the monthly. Want a named strategist and a plan on top? A managed strategy retainer sits on any tier and is scoped with you, so it carries no number here. The pricing page lists what each tier carries, row by row.
Your own numbers, on your own screen. Access comes first: the manager invitations on Analytics, Search Console, Ads and Business Profile, the CRM link, the website and its forms, and your login working. Then comes the first pull, which fills the Overview with your numbers, plus the answer-engine baseline, the keyword set for the search view and the ads watch starting on your account. After that come the content cadence, the first ads reports, the email flows and your goals. A view switches on as its source is linked. The setup page walks through each week.
Your login is a single-use link from login.trulata.com, sent to the email on your seat. A single-use sign-in link confirms who you are; our seat list decides what you may open. Remove a seat and the revocation takes effect within 30 seconds.

Which trades and practices does it fit, and where can I see it first?
Any trade or practice that sells a service. Trades: roofers, plumbers, HVAC companies, solar installers, garage door companies, fencing contractors, remodeling contractors, lawn care and landscaping companies, pest control, mold testing and remediation and water damage restoration. Practices: dentists, chiropractors, law firms and pet grooming and boarding. Each page starts with how that trade's customer chooses and what the screen leads with. The industries list holds all of them.
Fit by situation as well as by trade. No marketing team. You are the marketing department. You run more than one location or truck. You want to prove which dollar made the phone ring. You want to know whether the answer engines name you. The use cases page holds all five.
See it before you decide. Open demo.trulata.com. It opens with your name and email. It runs the same engine code every client runs, on a fictional company, with every number illustrative. Then subscribe, and setup on your own accounts starts.

What the software does, and what a person does.
| The job | Who does it | When |
|---|---|---|
| Content research and drafting | The engine, on Launch, Growth and Command | On your cadence; auto-publish is a per-client setting |
| Prospect sourcing | The engine, on Command | Weekly, to your target profile |
| Releasing a prospect email | A person, or the queue on the schedule set for the engagement | Per draft; every send logged |
| Ads change watch | The engine | Daily, 7:05am Eastern |
| Changing a budget or a bid | Within the limits set for your engagement | Read into the daily change record at 7:05am Eastern |
| Lead watch | The engine, where your forms feed the sheet | Daily, 7:20am Eastern, five checks |
| Your requests | You, from the screen; a person on the team makes the change | Logged and ticketed as you send them |
The scheduled work runs whether anyone is at a desk. A budget or bid change stays within the limits set for your engagement, and the watch records it. Prospect emails leave from a review-first queue; a person releases them, or the queue releases on the schedule set for the engagement, and every send is logged. Every page carries the time its numbers were last pulled.
Questions, answered.
Do I need a marketing person to run it?
The engines research, draft, watch and count on a schedule, and on Command they source prospects too. What is left for a person is the judgement: a budget, a bid, an approval where auto-publish is off, and marking what each lead became. On Command our team sits at that gate.
Will it spend money or email anyone without me?
Budget and bid changes stay within the limits set for your engagement, and the daily watch records each one. Prospect emails leave from a review-first queue; a person releases them, or the queue releases on the schedule set for the engagement, and every send is logged. Stripe is read live and read only, so a charge or a refund happens only in your own Stripe account.

One flat monthly figure, month to month. Starter is $400 a month, Launch $650, Growth $1,200, and Command is scoped per engagement. An annual commitment takes twenty percent off the monthly.
Do you count phone calls?
A phone lead counts only when your CRM records it. The leads the screen counts are submissions from your own website forms, appended to a lead sheet server-side as they arrive, plus what your CRM or booking platform records.
Can I try it before I subscribe?
Yes. Open demo.trulata.com, which opens with your name and email. It runs the same engine code every client runs, on a fictional company, with every number illustrative. Your own instance shows your own sources, with a stamp that says when they were pulled.
